YEREVAN. – Armenian government's decision to declare the state of emergency is conditioned by a sharp increase in coronavirus cases, Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan said.

However, there are no cases recorded in Artsakh, and there is no need to postpone the presidential election  in Artsakh, Pashinyan said in response to the question by MP Arman Babajanyan.

Nikol Pashinyan also called to avoid traveling to Artsakh and to Armenia from Artsakh.

“We have other restrictions in place, especially those that should limit contacts, including with soldiers,” he added.
