YEREVAN. -- The number of coronavirus cases climbed to 102 in Armenia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during an interview with Shant television.

He explained that 75 percent of cases are related to the infection cases recorded in Etchmiadzin and sewing company in Yerevan’s Shengavit district.

“75% were infected during an engagement party in Etchmidzin and at a sewing company.  The commandant’s office decided to remove the checkpoint on the road to Etchmiadzin from 8 p.m., since we managed to stop the situation around Etchmiadzin over the last two days, now the issue is to stabilize the situation with sewing company,” Pashinyan noted.

Pashinyan noted that there are no “new threads” of infection, but added that the virus is unpredictable.
