YEREVAN. – At Thursday's Cabinet session of the Government of Armenia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan outlined the steps they are planning to take at this stage of the crisis due to the coronavirus pandemic.

"At this stage we are clearly stating that we will launch a package of approximately 25 billion drams in support to the businesses; we will have another 25 billion drams of social assistance package ready to be used as needed," he said. "Thirdly, we will have a fund of about 80 billion drams, which will be aimed at reshaping and adjusting the economy in accordance with the parameters of the post-crisis times."

Subsequently Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan presented the details of the package of 25 billion drams to be provided to businesses in Armenia.
