YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: Former RA Prosecutor General Gevorg Kostanyan, referring to the processes taking place around the former head of the March 1 [2008 events’] case investigation group Vahagn Harutyunyan, expressed a view an interview with Zhoghovurd daily that the [respective] processes taking place in the RF [Russian Federation] are of a purely legal nature, regardless of they are trying to present it at our domestic level as a political approach.

And, in a conversation with Zhoghovurd daily, Gevorg Kostanyan, referring to this situation, mentioned: "The long and extensive messages that our law enforcement system makes are devoid of any evidence or justification. This is for the imitation of testing the domestic audience and Armenia’s public, whereas international bodies and other countries do not pay attention to the statements, but to the legal arguments and evidence that are put at the basis of those statements, which is completely missing along the lines of the March 1 case.

By the way, this was the fourth petition to arrest Vahagn Harutyunyan [who is in Russia], which was filed with the court.
