North Korea has fired two projectiles into the sea, BBC News reported referring to South Korea's military.

The test was conducted on Saturday morning. Missiles were fired from the Pyongan province towards the East Sea.

The projectiles flew for 410km with a maximum altitude of around 50km.

The Japanese coast guard confirmed that missiles fell outside the waters of the country's exclusive economic zone.
