An earthquake with 5.6 magnitude has hit Greece, AP reported.

No casualties from the disaster have been reported.

The epicenter was 11 km from the west coast of Parga and 316 km northwest of Athens.

Local media report that the earthquake caused a panic. Some old buildings were destroyed as well in the village of Kanallaki, located near the epicenter of the earthquake.
