The number of coronavirus cases in Spain climbed to nearly 5,000 in just 24 hours, Press Association reported.
This is the highest indicator recorded in 24 hours in Spain. The health ministry said the overall number of cases leaped to 24,926, 1,326 people died.
Over 1,600 patients are in the intensive care units.
