WHO believes the U.S. have potential to become the center of the pandemic.

 Asked whether the U.S. may become a new center, the WHO spokeswoman Margaret Harris said: “We are now seeing a very large acceleration in cases in the US.”

“They [the US] have a very large outbreak and an outbreak that is increasing in intensity.”
