Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Dunja Mijatovic demands the immediate release of active member of Azerbaijan’s Musavat Party and the National Council Tofig Yagublu, reports Turan.

“The arrest and detention of Tofig Yagublu on dubious charges is yet another illustration of the government’s continued prosecution of critics. The authorities of Azerbaijan should drop the charges, ensure his immediate release and take steps to ensure his health isn’t put at further risk,” she tweeted.
