Israeli health minister Yaakov Litzman and his wife have tested positive for COVID-19, The Israeli Times reported.
According to the statement of the office, the two were being “suitably treated and are in isolation, under observation in accordance with Health Ministry guidelines.”
Israel has already confirmed 6,092 coronavirus cases by Wednesday evening. The death toll has reached 25. According to the health ministry, 241 people have already recovered.
