The number of people who lost their lives because of COVID-19 has amounted to 3,294, said health ministry spokesperson Kianoush Jahanpour.
According to IRNA, Jahanpour said 2,715 new cases of COVID-19 infections have been found and 134 people have lost their lives since Thursday.
He noted that 4,035 patients are in serious condition.
According to Jahanpour, 17,935 cases of recovery among those infected have been recorded.
