An 81-year-old woman died of COVID-19 in Georgia, said Levan Ratiani, the director of the First University Clinic. 

According to him, the patient suffered from a number of acute and chronic diseases, which made the symptomatic treatment ineffective, Sputnik-Georgia reported.

Georgia has confirmed 170 coronavirus cases. And the death toll has now reached two.

While 36 people have recovered.
