Russia will not ask the EU to lift the sanctions introduced in 2014 in the context of the coronavirus pandemic, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov during an online interview for Russian and foreign media.
According to him, if the EU realizes that the method of sanctions has run its course and rejects the decisions that were adopted in 2014, Russia will be ready to reciprocate, TASS reported.
“But we are not going to ask to do this [to lift the sanctions],” the Russian FM added.
