Gold in Armenia is considered a financial asset, although it has high price volatility, but zero profitability, said the candidate for the post of the Armenian Central Bank governor Martin Galstyan.

According to him, a deposit in gold never brings interest.

“The people who manage our reserves are sure and have professional experience in determining the composition of assets that should be in reserves.”
