Armenian parliament speaker Ararat Mirzoyan congratulated journalists on World Press Freedom Day.
According to him, the free press is one of the most important pillars of democracy, the key to the development of society and progress.
"No wonder the press is considered to be the fourth power of the country," he noted. "Our joint task is to ensure the existence of an honest, objective, and independent press in Armenia."
