By the decree of Armenian President Armen Sarkissian, Erik Grigoryan was relieved of his post as the minister of the environment.

Earlier, local media reported that Erik Grigoryan wrote a letter of resignation.

Grigoryan took to his Facebook on Tuesday to write a new post: "Preserving the environment is the work of each of us, regardless of profession, place of work or preference."
