YEREVAN. - Opposition activist, member of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) Aram Bareghamyan was released on Monday.
Aram Bareghamyan was met by his relatives and ANC members outside the court.
Bareghamyan headed one of campaign offices of ANC leader, first Armenia’s President Levon Ter-Petrosyan during 2008 presidential election campaign. He was charged with using force against authority and was sentenced to six years’ imprisonment.
