Artur Tovmasyan, representing the Free Homeland Alliance faction, on Thursday was elected Speaker of the National Assembly of the new 7th convocation of the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Republic.
In his address as candidate for the post, Tovmasyan had proposed intensifying cooperation with both recognized and unrecognized countries, including through the establishment of friendship groups between parliaments.
