YEREVAN. – If the MPs of the Bright Armenia Party have called off the boycott and are present at the sitting of the National Assembly (NA) today, it means that they are satisfied with the position of the current government, which, represented by the RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, condemned the brawl in the parliament a few weeks ago. NA Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan stated this at Tuesday’s sitting of the parliament.

To note, during the sitting, Edmon Marukyan, leader of the opposition Bright Armenia Party and its parliamentary faction, once again stated from the podium of the parliament that the current authorities still have not condemn the violence committed against him by the MPs of the ruling My Step bloc.

As reported earlier, on May 8, a scuffle took place in the NA between Edmon Marukyan and Sasun Mikaelyan, an MP of the My Step bloc, which led to a mass brawl in the legislature.
