The patients at Dzorak mental health center have been isolated due to the novel coronavirus, Yerevan.Today reported.

Also 20 people as well as ten maintenance workers, who had been in contact with the infected patient at Dzorak, on Tuesday will be tested for COVID-19.

According to the spokesperson for the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia, on May 23, the health condition of a patient—a 23-year-old girl—at this mental health center had grown worse, she was taken to a Yerevan hospital where she was tested for the coronavirus, and the result was positive.

As a result, all the other patients and ten maintenance workers who had had contact with her were immediately isolated.

Once their test results come in, it will be decided where and under what conditions the further care and treatment of the infected persons will be organized.
