There will be certain amendments to the protocol on extension of the term for customs privileges for Kyrgyzstan in the Eurasian Economic Union, meaning customs privileges will be granted to the country for another year. This is what Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia Varos Simonyan said during a discussion on ratification of the protocol on extension of the term for customs privileges for Kyrgyzstan in the National Assembly of Armenia today, adding that Kyrgyzstan joined the Eurasian Economic Union in 2015, assumed certain obligations and shares the customs duties in the Eurasian Economic Union.

According to him, taking into consideration that sharing the customs duties would entail inflation of the prices of certain goods, Kyrgyzstan has been granted the right to privilege for customs duties for five years.
