According to him, “right now we are in the crisis and we think that we will need some time, in the next weeks, in the next months, in order to make a review.”

Michel noted that “it’s important to have clarity and to see how it is possible to learn the lessons.”

US President Donald Trump is demanding an immediate investigation and threatens to permanently suspend US funding for the WHO, unless the organization implements substantial reforms within the next 30 days.
