Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan today chaired a regular session of the commission coordinating the tasks for prevention of the spread of the coronavirus in Armenia, as reported the Government of Armenia.

Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan provided the statistics on the number of confirmed coronavirus cases, the health conditions of the patients and the capacities of the healthcare system.

The participants of the session touched upon the tasks being carried out by the police and inspectorates to oversee observance of the preventive rules and the cases of administrative offenses.

Prime Minister Pashinyan attached importance to the implementation of consistent and strict control over businesses, as well as on roads and in buses, minibuses and taxis. The head of government assigned the relevant government officials to be strict with those who violate the rules in order to maintain everyone’s health.
