Overall, we will continue with our strategy to not set more restrictions as much as possible, and this means there won’t be economic restrictions anytime soon. This is what Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Commandant for the state of emergency Tigran Avinyan said during a briefing held after the session of the Commandant’s Office.

“Today we held a discussion and didn’t rule out declaring another lockdown in case of certain conditions. We will do everything possible to make sure we don’t declare a lockdown. There are no talks about reduction of the spread of the coronavirus in any country, and this means our key objective is to make sure clinics and hospitals can provide services to all citizens.

We also discussed the policy on testing through the involvement of private testing laboratories, meaning there will be more tests for the coronavirus,” he emphasized.
