US President Donald Trump on Tuesday accused Twitter of interfering in the US presidential election after his tweet was tagged with a fact-checking warning.

"@Twitter is now interfering in the 2020 Presidential Election. They are saying my statement on Mail-In Ballots, which will lead to massive corruption and fraud, is incorrect, based on fact-checking by Fake News CNN and the Amazon Washington Post. Twitter is completely stifling FREE SPEECH, and I, as President, will not allow it to happen!" Trump said.

The US President has earlier tweeted that Democrats are trying to create conditions for election fraud. According to the American leader, his political opponents expect to use the coronavirus as an excuse for fraud. Trump's tweet was later tagged with a fact-checking warning.
