Famous composer and conductor Vladimir Gazaryan has passed away, as Zaven Babakhanyan reported on his Facebook page today. He particularly stated the following:

“Yesterday I was deeply saddened by the news about the death of famous composer and conductor, recipient of the Lenin Komsomol Prize of Moscow, member of the Union of Composers of Russia and merited artist Vladimir Ghazaryan is no longer with us. He always provided quality and worked with faith and motivation. He collaborated with Igor Krutoy, Iosif Kobzon, Sofia Rotaru, Anna German and many other famous singers.

We mourn and feel pity that Gazaryan is no longer with us. He was an individuality, and his loss is unquestionably irreversible.”
