Armenia has recorded a very high indicator in terms of occupied beds in reanimation units. This is what Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated during a briefing held after the session of the Commandant’s Office for the state of emergency declared in the country.

“God forbid Armenia faces a situation where there will be no more room for patients in reanimation units. If all beds are occupied, know that the missing spot may be required for your relative or family member and you personally. I call on everyone to look at the situation from this angle,” the Prime Minister said.

Touching upon the police raids, the Prime Minister said the following: “Over the past few days, the government has applied the practice of conducting surprise raids when police troops enter areas of certain communities and check to see how citizens follow safety rules. They also close down businesses and companies. The government might apply this sanction for three to four days or for a week.”
