YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: The April [2016 war] inquiry committee [of the parliament] will hear—via video link—today from former Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, who lives in Russia and has agreed—through the embassy—to answer questions.

The committee is interested in one question: What document Yuri Khachaturov, former head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces who declined the summons of the committee, signed in the RF [Russian Federation] during the days of the 2016 war.

The work of the committee of inquiry might end with this, then the committee members will leave for Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)], where they will meet with current and former officials. And they longer consider summoning [now ex-President] Bako Sahakyan expedient.

The term of the committee’s activities expires on June 2, but its report will be submitted in the fall.
