During ongoing unrest in the US, the Armenian khachkar was desecrated in the city of Denver, political analyst Suren Sargsyan wrote on his Facebook.

According to him, the khachkar was set by the efforts of the Youth Foundation of Armenia and the Armenian community in 2014.
