The White House has called on demonstrators protesting against racial discrimination and police officers’ disproportionate use of force to maintain law and order, reports Voice of America.

“We need law and order in the country,” White House representative Kayleigh McEnany told FOX News, adding that the anti-Fascist Antifa Organization is “clearly” behind the disturbances.

President Donald Trump, who on Sunday named Antifa a terrorist organization, held a closed meeting with Attorney General William Bar and later held a teleconference with governors and law-enforcement authorities and representatives of government agencies ensuring national security.
