Paris City Hall has allowed the reopening of outdoor seating areas in smaller numbers but with following the hygiene practices, DW reported.

"The reopening of cafes, hotels, and restaurants marks the return of happy days!" Macron tweeted noting that "the state will continue to support this sector."
