YEREVAN. – I suppose there are three confirmed cases of coronavirus in our factory. Bagrat Darbinyan, the owner of "Gloria" Sewing Factory in Vanadzor, Armenia, told Armenian News-NEWS.am about this Tuesday.

According to him, the workshop complies with all the rules set by the Commandant of the current state of emergency in the country due to the COVID-19 situation, but 3,000 people work there, and it would be surprising if no case was registered.

"We have not been told anything, we do not know exactly who they are, as about 10 people are isolated," he added, in particular.

Asked about the gender and age of those infected, Darbinyan responded. "Ninety percent of the employees of the workshop are women, and all three [of them] are middle-aged women."

According to the owner of this sewing factory, those who had had direct contact with these patients were also tested.
