Unfortunately, the coronavirus situation in Armenia is gaining momentum. This is what Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated during a briefing held after the session of the Commandant’s Office for the state of emergency.

According to him, the main question that people ask is why this is happening in Armenia. “I would like to repeat that the biggest problem is observance of the anti-epidemic rules. We are certain that observance of those rules will help reduce the number of coronavirus cases, and there won’t even be any coronavirus case.

Although the people in Armenia haven’t been afraid of anything since the revolution in 2018, the people haven’t been properly following the rules. In essence, we are dealing with a situation where citizens are violating the rules and the government isn’t tough,” he said.
