Human rights activist Avetik Ishkhanyan posted the following on his Facebook page:

“THE ASYMPTOMATIC PATIENT

I watched the speeches of Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, who is infected with coronavirus and is already a ‘patient’, and two other officials.

It is a fact that anyone can contract this virus, including top officials, such as British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin. As a matter of fact, whereas Johnson was a serious ‘hospital patient’, Mishustin is a so-called ‘asymptomatic patient’. However, these officials had a high sense of responsibility, isolated themselves and didn’t have contact with anyone besides doctors. However, our ‘proud patient’ Prime Minister is participating in the sessions of the Commandant’s Office and holding news conference as if nothing has happened. After seeing this, you start thinking that either those who didn’t believe the Prime Minister were right, or the Prime Minister is extremely irresponsible by putting others’ health at risk and demanding that the people show responsibility at the same time.”
