The number of COVID-19 cases in India has reached 207,615, RIA Novosti reported referring to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

According to it, 101,497 people are currently undergoing treatment in the country, 100,302 people have recovered, and 5,815 people have died.

The Ministry of Home Affairs, in turn, singled out three phases of lifting restrictions.

During the first phase set on June 8, temples, hotels, restaurants, and shopping centers will be reopened. 

During the second phase set in July, the work of schools and educational institutions will be allowed in agreement with the local authorities. 

During the third phase with no defined dates, international flights, the subway, cinema halls, swimming pools, theaters, cafes will be reopened and mass meetings will be allowed as well.
