My stance on the fact that Armenia’s air carriers are blacklisted is negative. This is what deputy of the Prosperous Armenia Party Mikayel Melkumyan told reporters today.

“I listened to the statements by the former advisor to the Prime Minister and other professionals. During the hour of announcements held as part of the past plenary session, I made a special statement on civil aviation since I had received phone calls from Armenian pilots of Kazakhstan and various pilots of Russia calling on the government to launch dialogue with pilots. Unfortunately, I don’t see the government launching dialogue,” the MP said, adding that the problems have emerged over time.

“Two years was ample time to make radical changes in the civil aviation sector and not let the sector collapse. It’s very bad that there is no responsibility,” he said.
