The Ministry of Health of Armenia has applied to the National Security Service with regard to the release of the personal data of people who have died from the coronavirus in Armenia. Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health Alina Nikoghosyan confirmed the news during a conversation with Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The Police of Armenia instituted a criminal case in regard to the release of the names and other personal data of 132 people who have died from the coronavirus after a Facebook user by the name of “Zndan” attached the photocopies of the lists of people having died from the coronavirus to an article. The Facebook user indicated the names, last names, fathers’ names, dates of birth and deaths and addresses of the 132 deceased persons and information about the clinics or hospitals where they had died.
