In 2019, much attention was paid to border security in Armenia, said National Security Service director Eduard Martirosyan.

His remarks came on Friday during the debates on the 2019 state budget performance.

According to him, the number of border violations has decreased over the past two years.

“38 violations were registered in 2018, 35 - in 2019, and four - this year,” he noted.
