Every police officer has a share of AMD 4,100,000 (about $8,500) in Armenia, while police officer in economically developed countries receive $74,200-$247,200, and this last indicator was recorded in Norway. This is what Chief of Police Arman Sargsyan said during a discussion on the report on the performance of the 2019 State Budget held as part of the joint session of parliamentary standing committees today.

According to him, the Armenian government has understood that it is necessary to spend more money on the police and is gradually increasing expenditures to take care of their needs.
