President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian today had a meeting with Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan.

President Sarkissian expressed his concern about the situation created as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and asked the minister to provide information and clarifications regarding the strategy to overcome the coronavirus pandemic, as well as the steps that are being taken and the current problems.

Minister Torosyan provided information about the current coronavirus situation in Armenia, the treatment for and recovery of patients with coronavirus, the problems related to the healthcare sector and the priority needs of the healthcare system.

President Sarkissian expressed willingness to do his best and use his personal ties to provide more support to establish ties with various countries and organizations to overcome the consequences of the pandemic.
