Armenia’s healthcare system has proved that it is functioning efficiently. This is what Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated during a briefing held after the session of the Commandant’s Office today.

When asked how is it that there are few citizens who have recovered from the coronavirus over the past couple of days, Pashinyan said the following: “In the past, the government would present the number of recovered patients who had tested positive for COVID-19, but now the government presents the number of patients who are in critical and particularly critical condition and are in hospitals. I can bring the example of my family. Thank God, we are asymptomatic, and if things continue at this rate, we will recover without any medical intervention. However, we will be recorded as the patients who had tested positive, but won’t be record-registered as recovered patients because we’re not undergoing treatment.”
