Voronezh border guards seized 16 tons of imported cigarettes. A huge batch of counterfeit tobacco was found onboard a cargo plane that arrived in Voronezh from Yerevan, Vesti Voronezh reported.
Based on the labels, all cigarettes have been produced in Armenia.
This is the second such case as in late April, the same cigarettes were seized by border guards of Russia's Krasnodar.
“Former Armenian Ambassador to the Vatican, Mikael Minasyan, accused the current PM Nikol Pashinyan of organizing this illegal business. And he, in turn, threatened the opponent with security forces," Vesti Voronezh noted.
