Malaysian PM Muhyiddin Yassin announced the lifting of most restrictive measures introduced on March 18 amid the COVID-19 pandemic, TASS reported.

According to him, they have successfully coped with the spread of COVID-19.

He noted that since June 10, free movement has been allowed between states, and domestic tourism is being restored.

Besides, he noted that some sports and recreational activities will be allowed, with the exception of those with many spectators.

Malaysia has over 8.3 thousand COVID-19 cases. About 6.6 thousand patients have already recovered.
