A Magnitude 5.7 earthquake has hit southern Iran, reports RIA Novosti, citing the country’s seismological center.
According to seismologists, the epicenter of the underground shocks was Fars (22 km from Beyram), with a 10 km depth and 239 km from Shiraz, which is the largest city and administrative center of Fars.
The shocks were recorded at 9:48 p.m. in Iran. About an hour ago, a Magnitude 5.1 earthquake was recorded in the same territory.
