The US attacks on China are completely politicized, and Beijing is always ready for mutually beneficial cooperation with Washington, RIA Novosti reported referring to Chinese Ambassador to Russia Zhang Hanhui.

According to him, the provocations and attacks of the American side are unreasonable and politicized intentions. He noted that it is based on the mentality of the Cold War.

China is always ready to develop cooperation with other countries of this world - including the US - based on justice, equality, mutual benefit, he added.

As the diplomat noted, no one wants to deprive the US of leadership in this world.

In recent days, the US-China relations have deteriorated due to the bill being drafted by the Chinese parliament to protect Hong Kong’s national security, which Washington believes is aimed at eliminating its high autonomy.

US President Donald Trump has already threatened to apply sanctions and recall the special status of Hong Kong. China rejected any criticism noting that Hong Kong's questions were exclusively its internal affair.
