There are over 100 accident-prone buildings in Yerevan. This is what Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Hayk Sargsyan said in response to a question from secretary of the Bright Armenia parliamentary faction Gevorg Gorgisyan during a discussion on the report on performance of the 2019 State Budget held as part of the joint session of parliamentary standing committees today.
Sargsyan particularly stated that works are underway. “There are 170 families who have been transferred from accident-prone buildings to other buildings, and another 70 are waiting to be moved to a building under construction. Those 70 families are living in temporary shelters,” Yerevan’s deputy mayor said.
