There are six residents of Parakar village of Armenia’s Armavir Province infected with COVID-19, and one of them is undergoing treatment at the local hospital. This is what head of the village’s ambulatory Narine Grigoryan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“There are three new confirmed cases, and the number of self-isolated people continues to rise. Two of the patients are from the same family, the sources of their infection are different, and they are not linked to the cases that had already been confirmed in this village,” she said.

Today the regional governor of Armavir Province told reporters that there might be restrictions on movement in Parakar and Tandzut villages.
