YEREVAN. – The Minister of Health of Armenia, Arsen Torosyan, had a telephone conversation with his Georgian colleague, Ekaterine Tikaradze.

They presented the epidemiological situation both in Armenia and Georgia regarding COVID-19, exchanged views on the measures being taken to address this challenge at the national level, and discussed the possibility of mutual assistance in this regard, the Ministry of Health of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Also, the colleagues agreed to create a permanent platform for the exchange of experience.

The Armenian Minister of Health lauded the close cooperation between the peoples of Armenia and Georgia.

An agreement was reached to organize discussions on strategic issues on anti-epidemic measures, especially to be prepared for the possible spread of the coronavirus in the fall.
