YEREVAN. – Today's 100 percent discipline of ours will be reflected in its specific numbers one week from now, at the earliest. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting of the government, and regarding the ongoing fight in Armenia against COVID-19.

"Ninety-five percent of the [coronavirus] infections are the result of not following the working rules," he said, in particular.

Pashinyan added that the non-observance of the rules during wakes and funerals has been a serious problem in Armenia as of late. "Local self-government bodies have a great role to play here, which should start communicating with the citizens, in any such case, presenting to them the whole complexity of the situation. The next issue is ‘underground’ weddings. It is very important that our dear compatriots take the issue very seriously," the PM said.
