In 2019, Armenia continued to develop value cooperation with the EU, as well as mutually beneficial cooperation with the European Union member states, and with all countries of the European continent, in general, Armenian FM Zohrab Mnatsakanyan said during Thursday's debates on the 2019 state budget performance report.

According to him, it is greatly important to ensure a political dialogue based on the Armenian-EU deal. 

“For the development of democratic freedoms in Armenia, it is important to provide help to state structures, as well as cooperate in various fields. 

In 2019, the financial support provided by the EU to Armenia significantly increased. We also appreciate the EU’s support for Armenia in such a difficult period in the COVID-19 fight and in the prevention of its socio-economic consequences," the minister added.
